My Muthaaa's Day

What a great day for a Mothers Day it was SUNNYYYYYY and warm even at 4:45 when I woke up. We had a day of Barbecuing eating laughing and chillen! All my kids were home even The Boon showed up later in the day. My mom and I whipped up some good eats for everyone and Torlend cooked up burgers to go with the Hawaiian Chicken and Beef Ca bobs.


The Coke Machine got these for my garden.We are gonna plant this weekend after the carnival .

Tink bought me these FESTIVE flowers and some high liters. For those not in know iam addicted to office supplies!



Here is all my siblings and folks but one Alexe had to work. We all look a bit scary but we were haven fun!~~~
My husband is out here. I could see his boat off the porch but getting pic was hard cause I couldn't see threw the view finder to much sun. Iam not even gonna whine about it

Even Cup Cake called and wished me a happy day!!

The Future Glitter Queen and "Humpee" aka grandpa. My mom calls him grumpy and well there ya go this is TFGQ way of saying that Ü makes me giggle!


The Deck is looking a bit shabby right now. But we will plant next week and it will come ALIVE with flowers, weird plant sticks,sea shells and the the random mermaid here and there! Ü All and all a great relaxing day!

Beach'en !

It was a GORGEOUS day on Friday I could hardly stand being locked up in the office. So by 5:15 we were at the Spit. We had a yummy dinner at the Glacier Drive Inn and then too the beach for a walk !


This Guy was kicken it large!He even came all the way up to the shore line for me to take pictures. He was doing some cool wave jumps!!

Nancy and Sunny of the Glacier drive Inn. Two of the nicest people you will meet on the planet! I bet they never knew 25 years ago when me and my friends stole the competitions signs and took them to the Glacier Drive in that one day id be doing there payroll lol! Its the first sign of summer around here when you have your first meal at the Glacier!

See this Kuspuk the Future Glitter Queen is wearing? My friend Bea made this about 14 years ago for my Daughter.We lived in Dutch Harbor and it was the PERFECT coat for there! Since then it has been lent out to every little girl I know for use. I LOVE this coat!!!

KRAP'D Freedom weekend

Saturday we had KRAP'D FREEDOM weekend! What is KRAP you ask?? It stands for Kathy,Rama and Penny. And when Dee-Dee joins us its KRAP'D. We have been a cozy little "gang" for YEARS! It all started when Kathy and I were messing about and the song WKRP in Cincinnati came on and I said too bad we don't know any one who's name starts with W we could be WKRP and Kathy spouts out we already have K R and P that's KRAP baby! and thus the KRAP sisters were born. We have honorary members and at one point had the A in our KRAP. "AMBER" our good friend died 3 years ago. She remains our A if only in our hearts! (Love ya Joyce!!!)
So this last weekend we had Freedom weekend ,that's freedom from EVERYTHING parents,children,volunteering,work you get the picture!
It was a BEAUTY FULL weekend over 75 degrees on the 2ND of May in Alaska CRAZY!
Dee hadn't made it to Kenai yet so here is K R and P having there first Corona . Hey it was hot out !Hot equals Beer no????



Well you know if Iam there we are haven bubbles !! This one had stuck around for awhile. Must have been alot of bubbles as P's neighbors asked if she had gotten a hot tub and filled it with bubbles. Guess those bubbles were floating over to there yard! *Ü*


Well D Finally made it so that calls for another toast! Corona and Wine this time!













We played some yard games. I Lost BADLY on all of them. But that's just because those guys are CHEATERS!!BAD CHEATERS!! (OK truth is any time I loose at something I blame who ever it is for cheating ;op)










After a BB-Que,Sun,Bubbles,Tunes and games we decided that there should be DANCING!!! So I painted toe nails before we headed for some clubs, and for what ever reason thought this was a much needed photo! (humm maybe to many toasts???)Humm my pants are to long need to get higher shoes next time.

Since I was not allowed to take any face photos for the blog this weekend I thought id post this one from last month of us. D R K and on the end P ! WAY out of order as always!

Dance Dance Dance

The Elks Lodge held a dance for the Jr Highers and LUCKY me was a chaperon. (ok i lie i did not feel lucky! That's probley because my mind was already in Kenai for the KRAP sisters Freedom weekend)But at any rate the kids had a GOOD time.


The Boys spontaneously put up this pyramid. Yes that is the Coke machine down there on the bottom.They also had a kick butt 11 man pyramid up but that photo wont load. BOO !! I think I may have drug
the Coke Machine too 1 to many cheer practices. As they also were doing shoulders sits while dancing.


Had to do the Limbo as they requested it. Well actually Coke Machine grabbed a floor mop and said "Hey its Limbo time" That was that and they even got Justin the ER and a few other officers to join in with them. The winners 3 boys at about a foot and half witch I thought was very GOOD!



And here we have Tink, Bubbles,Hydro,and Cup Cake who came to crash the dance at the very end. Say hi to Cup Cake as she thinks this blog needs more CUP CAKE time!!

Spring has Sprung!

Ok well at least around the office anyhow! This week we have flowers blooming away!
Isn't this a festive one? I got these for "Administrative Professional Extraordinaire day" Ü As soon as it warms up a bit more i will plant them outside on my deck!














This crazy plant has been blooming solidly for over a month. Since iam such the brown thumb I don't know why!! I guess they like being ignored and some water throw en at them every now and again.






Ok well this isn't a plant but the hubby sent them to me on Monday and well hell they are just festive!





Sometimes i get visitors at work . Yes I did give her that crazy fountain hair doo and the licorice smile too ;op Any way her, mom and her grandma were heading out to Fritz Creek gardens . So it does tie in with plants heheheh!

Hey I even broke down and baked for the bake sale.(kids are raising money to go to Germany next spring for Choir) Yes they are a "tad" obnoxious but they are festive dang it! And as an added bonus they stained the teeth of the eater some lovely shades ! Ü
