Pain is Weakness leaving the Body!

Well according to this Tee Shirt it is!! The Coke Machine was voted Best Team Captain by his wrestling team mates and was awarded this Tee at Boroughs this weekend! Iam so proud of him being a good leader is HARD!! The Coke Machine had a pretty good weekend as he also won 3rd at Boroughs ! He had a "good" day of wrestling . He has qualified for state but says he isn't going. UGH he drives me crazy !! Well to be fair he only did wrestling this season so that he could get in shape for Jr High football witch starts in a month. So i guess I shouldn't whine about it! But still to pass up a bid to State GRRRRR!!

On another note I did my first outside run yesterday. Here is the beginning of my run. 9:00 am and it was LOVELY out. People its FEBUARY in ALASKA you could NEVER tell it was 40 freaken degrees out! AMAZING!!

Here is my leg on Saturday after my run. Notice how my leg only looks like 2 legs now and not 3 YAA WHOO!! But the bruising keeps creeping down my leg. its about 4 inches below my knee now. I don't know so weird!!

Emblem LOVE !! and a injury

 Some of you will not surprised that Tink was installed into Homer Emblem Club #350 at last Thursdays meeting. I was pretty thrilled to be the Installing Marshell for her Installation. She and Hydro seemed to even kinda dig it. 

Just remember this sage piece of advise "The reward for service is more service!!" Iam very proud of you both!!

On Saturday I had a personal best day of  exercise just shy of  4 miles running some AMAZING weight lifting and 3 bouts of stretching . I came into the gym a freakin emotional mess and left feeling empowered and AWSOME on the physical and on the mental almost normal( lol well as normal as i get.) I had some plans for later in the day so ran home showered dressed and got ready to go . When I got to the event I went to sit down and the back of my leg felt tender so i was like ill just stand no biggy . When I got out of the shower Monday morning this is what my leg looked like. (yes this is my fat ass thigh what ever!! Be glad
I held down my shirt a bit so don't have be looking at my big ass too!!) Amazingly it didn't hurt so i went to palliates (Monday is my off day NO running) and Tuesday I ran my 2 miles and did arm weights. Still not really sore or anything. Wednesday afternoon my leg was on FIRE!!! and now of course its all kinds of fancy colors. I honestly don't know what the hell I did all i know is that iam not loving it today ( yes i ran today BADLY but i did it) and I took a walk tonight seems fine. So whoooo knows!!

The Gym View

Ok so I wanted to share with you my kick ass view from MY treadmill at the Bay Club. People need to remember this is MY treadmill and get the heck off of it when I get there. Ok Ok ill share but you can see why THIS one is my favorite. Just check out the view. Granted I am there  and gone before the sun ever comes up 5 outta the 6 days a week i go but the lights off the spit are very festive to look at also.

My Kick ass running shoes AGAIN. I just cant tell you how much I love these things so so COMFY. Worth every flipping penny i paid for them. And the Flipen Chip is a mini motivator kinda kicks your butt in gear when you feel like slacken.



















This is my FAVORITE set of weights. If i could do these all day long I would . Although my legs would be mighty hulkish BOO to that as I really cant pull off the green tinge he has. Ok for those who are asking Iam now running 2.50 miles comfortably and I have ran 3 three and half with out feeling like i wanna buy a new lung. I tore my hip flexor and can I just say OWWW!! I have a darn high pain tolerance but this has me by the short hairs to say the least!! But after MANY trips to the chiropractor's office this week and some good narcotics   I got all my runs in this week but 1 . They weren't pretty but they are in the books as they say. Iam feeling like iam on track for the 5k in April. Now to all that keep asking about how much weight Ive lost here is your answer NONE ZIPPO NATTTTAA in fact Ive gained 7 pounds since Dec 12Th. Iam good with this as I didn't start running to loose weight (not that COULDNT USE it) i just want to be able to run the Spit run in June. So anything else is just a bonus. All righty so now you are all caught up with me and my running adventure!

Sweet 16 ?!

Tink turned 16 on January 20th ! She wanted a ZOMBIE AND PRINCESS themed party at home. How great is that?I mean when I was 16 NO WAY Id have stayed home on my birthday. I cant tell ya what me and Chi Ball did but Iam sure it was some kinda mind boggling something or other. Humm is that the birthday I was in Petersburg and my grandma made me rum cake and I bought booze for the first time?? Crap I think it is!! Ok Ok iam driffting off subject! Any how Saturday WAS SWEET 16 PARTY NIGHT!!!

Sumo Chuck Sings

My sister has been singing songs for us for our Birthdays for years. In fact they have become a Birthday MUST!! Its just not your birthday if Chuck hasn't sung her song. Now its not JUST a rendition of Happy Birthday NOOO NOOO this is a song made up each year about or just for you. One year she even did a rap song for Tink. Now even if your not home she leaves it on your machine. Witch I always hope She leaves it on the machine that way you get to play it back a few times for some more cheap laughs. And you get to play it for everyone else to laugh at. Annnnny how yesterday was Tinks 16Th Birthday and Chuck did her song Via You Tube so with that I leave you with SUMO CHUCK .........
