Sweet 16 ?!

Tink turned 16 on January 20th ! She wanted a ZOMBIE AND PRINCESS themed party at home. How great is that?I mean when I was 16 NO WAY Id have stayed home on my birthday. I cant tell ya what me and Chi Ball did but Iam sure it was some kinda mind boggling something or other. Humm is that the birthday I was in Petersburg and my grandma made me rum cake and I bought booze for the first time?? Crap I think it is!! Ok Ok iam driffting off subject! Any how Saturday WAS SWEET 16 PARTY NIGHT!!!

Sumo Chuck Sings

My sister has been singing songs for us for our Birthdays for years. In fact they have become a Birthday MUST!! Its just not your birthday if Chuck hasn't sung her song. Now its not JUST a rendition of Happy Birthday NOOO NOOO this is a song made up each year about or just for you. One year she even did a rap song for Tink. Now even if your not home she leaves it on your machine. Witch I always hope She leaves it on the machine that way you get to play it back a few times for some more cheap laughs. And you get to play it for everyone else to laugh at. Annnnny how yesterday was Tinks 16Th Birthday and Chuck did her song Via You Tube so with that I leave you with SUMO CHUCK .........

A Walk to Bishops Beach

Ok so today I went on a walk down to Bishops Beach. Hey the SUN was out and I had to get out in it! Any way decided to take my camera and snap a few shots on my journey for the day!

Here is shot of the Spit from between 2 houses just a bit past my house. I should have shot one off my porch dang it!

Ok I don't know what this is!! I haven't a clue why we need a bridge to some stairs to what looks like a white box. All I do know is that last summer when they built it the helicopter started flying over my house at 0600 on a Saturday and I was ANNOYED!! So if you know what the hell this is for please share!

Here is what the Homer Theater has to offer us this week. Now don't be judgen at least they are this "year'ish" Far cry from back in the day.

The Fairy Ring Tea house is always festive! Bummer it was closed cause its SUPER cute inside! Plus you can have both  tea and wear Fairy Wings!! Cant get that just any place!!

Homer Cabins were else ya gonna get a anarondak chair ,a shovel and what looks to be a kids big wheel under a tarp. Notice not a drop of snow. Its January in Alaska people!

This is some ones house a little over half way down the hill I love all the buoy's. And the fence cut outs are whales . Come on dang it that is festive!! Plus the yellow and green you KNOW you want  as your own house colors I bet they can find this house in the darkest nights of winter!

Mermaid Cafe and Book Store, well ya know I had to throw this in just for the Mermaid Factor! Oh and hey if ya ever want a rocken Spinach Salad this is THE place to get it.

See if  Id have just gone straight id have been to the beach but I turned, plus I really wasnt feeling the climb down of whats left of the bank.

Ring of Fire Meadery Ya never know when that thirst is gonna kick up on a walk!! Since Ive sworn off drinking for the year I just walked on past though.

Besides the GREAT COFFEE GODS were but a few steps away at Two Sisters Bakery! Can I just say that my 6oz Quad Skinny Latte was like a gift from heaven at this point. Although 20 plus degrees out the wind had picked up and I was getting a tad chilly!

With coffee in hand  I had made it to the promised land! See all that just  so I could sit on a piece of drift wood drink a hot beverage and enjoy a little touch of why we call Homer Home !

Mind blowing Post

HA HA Not really MIND BLOWING but  I couldnt think of a tittle!Ok Ok I know its been like a week since Ive blogged but seriously people Ive been spending all my time at work and the gym. Hey but I did take a picture of my NEW comfy running shoes. Coolest part of them (besides if course being pink) is they have the Nike+ chip in em! The chip will be here next week witch works out good cause that way i can break my shoes in before i calibrate the chip to my I Touch. When I get brave ill send ya the link for tracking.

Got a question for ya !!!what would ya do if your pants fell off while running on the treadmill at the gym?? Ya I know what I DID yesterday! I threw those damn things away after I DIED of embarrassment!! Whats worse is that the boy shorts I was wearing had sort of slid down under my butt cheeks so There I was pants by my knees underwear under my cheeks running in the middle of the freak-en gym!! THANK GAWD I had on a longish shirt and only one person was behind me on a an elliptical !!! I don't know if she saw or not but she was nice enough not to mention if she did!!!

The Future Glitter Queen did NOT care about the Ball dropping. She was watching Dora. She and I were learning how to "Shake Your Bootee" and then reach for the SKY!!

Chucky Poo thought she was gonna get me all in wad by bringing 2 boxes of these over . WRONG I was so excited that I offered to watch her kids for her. I felt WAYYYYY better then her today LOL!!!

Someone in the neighborhood was setting off some KICK BUTT fireworks all night. I KEPT missing them with my Camera. BOO!!! The police kept driving by trying to find who was setting them off. Kinda like a game of hide n seek. Lots of seeking no finding YAYAYAYA!!!

The Teens had a cool idea of writing down what they wanted to FORGET about 2009 and then after the New Years Toast,Kissing,Hugging and Fireworks they burned them. I thought that was a pretty cool idea!

OK So that was our New Years Eve I sent the last two to bed at 5:30 in the morning. They were playing WII fit LOL cant get fired up about that !!
So What is the Glitter Queens 2010 New Years Resolution you may ask??? Its NOT quitting smoking ALREADY did that been a month and a half now!! YA YA!! Hold your hats are ya ready?? Iam going to run a 10K in June!! Hey stop laughing damn it!!! BREATH BREATH already!!! Nope for real gonna do this.In fact Iam all ready in training. Yes people I actually run LOL !!! Big T's Birthday !!

Big T's Birthday is the Day after Christmas. We had a low key celebration at Mom's house. She whipped up some birthday lasagna for him. We played cards after and I even got to win a game!! YAAA BABY!!!
